Journal #17: Character Menu (3 Terms)

Tracking: Tracking is the space between letters. A higher tracking value will lead to further spaced letters, and a lower tracking value will lead to closer spaced letters.

Font Style: Font style is the style of the current font. Most often fonts will have bold, italic, and regular styles, but the possibilities are infinite; some less popular options are narrow or hollow.

Character Menu: A Character Menu is a formatting panel which allows you to edit text in a number of ways such as slanting the text, spacing the letters closer or further, changing the size of the text, changing the font, etc.
