I think the Baskin-Robbins logo is a very effective one. The logo is comprised of 4 shapes, two which make up the letter "B", and another two which make up the letter "R". The simplicity of the design gives it a better shot at being memorable, and what makes the design timeless is the consistency within certain aspects of the design; in this case, its the blue/pink color scheme and the hidden "31" which tie into Baskin-Robbins identity as a household name. The design is appropriate because it enforces their tagline of "31 Flavors" while displaying their initials at the same time, this also counts towards the versatility of the design.
